JIWON BAEQ shot THE REPLICA on an ARRI Alexa 35 with Zeiss Supreme Primes, mostly wide, mostly still, and almost never at the character's eye level — a set of restrictions agreed on before the first scout and broken exactly twice.
His work spans narrative shorts and commercial campaigns, with a particular interest in what available light does to interiors after four in the afternoon.
